Upon departing your hotel or ship pier, you will board an
air-conditioned
vehicle whose first stop will be the Harbor Street Craft Market.
Here you will find the best in locally made wood carvings, house
dresses
and other items. After an hour to browse, you will drive along the
coast
of Montego Bay, stopping on the "Hip Strip" (Gloucester
Avenue), where you can relax and enjoy some duty free shopping for
about
45 minutes. Next is a photo stop -- wetting your feet in the cool, Caribbean
Sea. The tour then continues along the coast with your guide
explaining
the history of Jamaica and the area you are passing through. There is
another
photo stop at the Rose Hall Great House, a short drive through
the
heart of "Golf Course Country" -- the setting of many stories,
including the the White Witch of Rose Hall (Annie Palmer).
